Neue Grenzen

Neue Grenzen: Meldungen Und Meinungen is an intermediate to advanced German cultural reader developed primarily for courses that focus on reading and that are generally offered at the fourth or fifth semesters of language instruction. It is also appropriate for conversation and conversation/composition courses. All of the readings in the text are authentic, drawn from contemporary German-language publications. Topics and up-to-date selections reflect the current political, social, and economic realities of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The activities, many of which are "hands on" and require note-taking, list-making, and sentence and paragraph composition, develop reading skills and encourage appreciation of social and historical cultural content.
