Focusing on the evolution of migration policy in Turkey, this book examines the significant shift from labor exportation in the 1960s and 70s to contemporary integration efforts in response to recent mass immigration. With a rapidly increasing foreign-born population, the need for policy adjustments is critical. Despite Turkey's humanitarian efforts towards Syrian refugees, integration policies remain inadequate, reflecting a pressing need for improvement as the country adapts to ongoing immigration challenges.
