Isabelle's Choice

Set in Halifax in 1876, the story follows Isabelle Gibson, who, after losing her mother and sister, struggles to protect herself and her brother in a workhouse. Seeking to escape her grim circumstances, she agrees to marry a moorland farmer, Farrell, whom she has never met. However, her new life is fraught with challenges as Farrell is a violent drunkard engaged in a bitter feud with his landlord, Ethan Harrington.
