In Maremma

Set in the desolate Maremma region of Tuscany, the story follows Musa, a beautiful orphan and daughter of a notorious bandit, as she navigates life after the death of her adoptive mother, Joconda. Living in the ruins of an ancient Etruscan tomb, Musa faces attempts from various suitors to win her over, but she fiercely maintains her independence. Her journey takes a turning point when she experiences the intensity of true love, leading to unforeseen and tragic consequences.
