Sky Run

Set against a backdrop of a perilous journey, the story follows Peggy Piercy, a 112-year-old crofter, as she navigates the challenges of raising her great-great-grandniece Gemma and great-great-grandnephew Martin. Orphaned and entrusted to Peggy's care after their parents' mysterious disappearance, the teenagers are now ready for an education. Peggy faces the daunting task of transporting them across treacherous waters filled with pirates and strange creatures, highlighting themes of adventure, family, and the quest for knowledge.
