Kamoro Natural Resources

Focusing on the Kamoro people's relationship with their environment, this book details their utilization of natural resources from the Arafura Sea, estuaries, mangroves, and tropical rainforests. Conducted in 2000, the research spans four key locations, documenting local ecological knowledge in both Indonesian and Kamoro dialects. It highlights the impact of mining activities on their lifestyles and categorizes vital animal and plant groups used for sustenance.
