Set in 1977, the story follows siblings Ike and Lucy Marder as they navigate their troubled lives. Meanwhile, Lucy thrives as a star reporter for a new tabloid in Washington, DC, exposing a serial killer while mingling with a wealthy, dubious family. Amid the chaos of the era—marked by celebrity culture and societal unrest—their paths converge, leading to perilous choices that could jeopardize their lives and their parents' safety.
