Claire and her friends are in turmoil as Bishop, Amelie's power-hungry vampire father, attempts to seize control of Morganville. When all vampires, including the youngest, Michael, mysteriously vanish, Claire teams up with Eve and Shane to help. A final battle erupts, forcing Claire to choose between loyalty to Bishop or death.
