Effective Altruism

This is the first collective study of the thinking behind the effective altruism movement, which aims to work out the most efficient ways to use our resources to help others. Leading philosophers, economists, and political theorists explore the issues which arise once one takes seriously the twin ideas of altruistic commitment and effectiveness.
