Steinwild am Großglockner

Alpine Ibex functions as symbol of the Austrian alps. The resettlement of Alpine Ibexes at Austrians biggest mountain, the Großglockner, began in 1960. The book describes biological aspects as well as the biotope, the developement of the population and scientific research concerning the wildlife at Nationalpark Hohe Tauern.
