English Summary The current situation in manufacturing is characterized by a continuous need for improvement due to effects such as varying customer demands or the introduction of new manufacturing technologies. The Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) aims at permanently improving manufacturing systems and processes. The central idea is integrating the worker into the improvement process taking direct advantage of his hands-on expertise. There are different methods to support this such as employee suggestion systems or quality circles. There, employees are integrated in different steps of the improvement process.
