Knihu jsem začal číst za zajímavosti, je to oceněná kniha, je potřeba, že ocenění se vztahuje na angl. originál, k tomu se vrátím. Musím napsat, že Předveďte Mrtvé je druhý díl trilogie, že mě kniha oslovila, a docela od ní odcházím poučen, co se jednání s lidmi týká, potom si člověk uvědomí svou nicotnost a příležitosti. Historická fakta a vykreslení doby, jak žili, poměry na dvoře krále Anglie, nakonec postavy jsou vykresleny tak, že Vás zaujmou. Mě příběh zaujal a následně jsem přečetl i první díl, třetí se nemohu dokopat dočíst. Oceněné jsou první dva díly, tento spolu s Wolf Hall, a otázkou je, aspoň pro mě, kvalita překladu, už originál je napsaný osobitě a některé pasáže jsou takově nezáživné až zmatečně splývavé a je otázkou, kde je chyba, myslím, v překladu? Ma druhou stranu to není takový kotrmelec, aby jsem ji nemohl označit za zajímavou, do takové míry, až je to pro mě kniha tohoto roku.
