Europa in der Welt

Der vorliegende Band enthält einen Beitrag zum Thema «The Future of Europe - The Foundations of Unity of the States of Europe» (Dr. Andrzej Duda), worüber im Rahmen des Churchill Europe Symposium diskutiert wurde. Justice Samuel Alito sprach im Rahmen der 5. Zurich Lecture zum Thema «Globalization and the Enforcement of Human Rights». Im Rahmen der Vortragsreihe Schweiz - Kultur - Europa wurden folgende Vorträge gehalten: «Die Hauptstadt» (Robert Menasse) und «Germany 2064 - Ein Zukunftsthriller» (Martin Walker). Weiter beinhaltet dieser Band Referate zum Thema «Resolution Planning - Now, the next steps» (Dr. Elke König), «The importance of parliamentary democracy and the role of the Speaker in the UK House of Commons» (Rt Hon John Bercow MP), «Braucht es das IKRK heute noch?» (Christine Beerli) u. a. m.
