ARTBOX.PROJECT New York 1.0 Tanja S.Prill

Tanja S. Prill is working in her own studio for 5 years now and has built up an own art school in her hometown Hamm. Tanja tries to show different sides and characters of the mostly females she is painting, as well as different moods and expressions. The use of color is very important as Prill wants to catalog things going on „underneath the skin“. Modern expressionism and the affinity to other art types as Street Art, for example, is showing in her work as well. She is working with a gallery in Germany, Joachim Dikmayer and took part in several exhibition in Berlin and Innsbruck. Within the Gallery Ewa Helena Martin in Hamburg she is part of the so called Media Art Shows. In 2016 one of her pictures was shown during the Exhibition „Spectrum“ in Miami on the big screen. Some of the newest works are painted digitally on a Graphic Tablet. Still she loves the traditional ways of painting. At the moment, Prill is also working in her studio on new series of pictures, that will be of a way bigger size than the ones before and are reserved to be shown at museums. One of her biggest goals for the future as an artist is to produce less of the paintings, that are used as accessories in peoples homes, but to show more of honest works and way rougher works without loosing dignity and class of the people, that will be shown in her future pictures.
