Travelling across the USA

He doesn’t look where everyone else looks, but it doesn’t bother him to take pictures of the -obvious…” This way journalist and author Georg Diez characterizes the approach of his -father Paul Gerhard Diez, who was a passionate amateur photographer and a then student of theology. The book „Travelling Across the USA“ shows photographs by Paul Gerhard Diez which he took during a journey across the USA in 1954. The photographer wrote a short-comment on each picture. A contemporary document and a very special travel diary was created. Paul Gerhard Diez, Travelling Across the USA is published, with an accompanying essay by Georg Diez, is published in a German and an English edition by Books & Booklets publishers.
