Napoleon's Marshals

Napoleon's marshals are among the most important persons of French military history. Former British soldier and historian Richard Dunn-Pattinson (1874-1916) offers a very detailed description of the lives of the men given this honor by Napoleon: social background, political and military career and personal ties to the French emperor.
